I am always on the look out for a ristorante that can deliver a truly authentic Italian experience in both ambiance and flavor. Maggiano's is marginal. I am always skeptical of a restaraunt that is located within shopping mall proximity and with good reason. I don't feel Maggiano's food could stand up on its own merit to draw its clientele. Location is therefore key for this place because it is convenient to shoppers and local area businessmen. Let's be honest, it does well to support the American vices of shopping and large portions. Parking is convenient and abundant. The interior is indeed a nostalgic scene with white and red checked tablecloths, leather banquettes, a very large dining area, and dimly lit tables. Even at noon it was a challenge to read the menu because of the lighting. A plus for the warm french bread, however the olive oil for dipping was a bit bitter. A little salt, balsamic and garlic would have made it better. Service was Great. Portions are indeed excessively large for one and can easily be shared. Family style was prevalent throughout the surrounding tables where business meetings and small families gathered. I can imagine the fun involved in experimenting with several different dishes. Most of the dishes were served with red sauce. Our table enjoyed a house salad with cool bleu cheese. This was refreshing. Our gnocchi with tomato vodka sauce was delivered two bites into the salad - Pasta was not al dente and the shrimp (of which there were only four) was a bit strong in flavor. My recommendation -- If you just want a hefty pasta fix and have an indiscriminate palate give Maggiano's a try.

When I crave Italian food I crave Maggianos! It's really busy here so I do recommend making a reservation. I ordered the chicken and spinach manicotti, it was so rich and creamy! So delicious and it came out really hot. The calamari was nice and crispy, but the serving size was a bit small. To accompany my meal I ordered a margarita which was light and refreshing. I definitely will be back to try other delicious dishes.

I love coming to Maggianos it's so elegant and nice ! I came here few years ago for my first date with my boyfriend and the environment was very welcoming, reservations are highly recommended since it can be busy especially on the weekends. The food never disappoints. We only ever come here for birthdays or anniversary's. They bring some cute lemon cookies with some chocolate written happy Birthday & the dessert that we MUST have is the warm apple crostata it is sooooo good highly recommend!!!! We have tried the tiramisu, but we weren't really fans of the taste, but if you like coffee flavor stuff go for it.

The food here is SO good! It makes up for the sometimes slow and forgetful servers. The dining room inside becomes loud very quickly, we prefer the patio and if you go on a night when there's live music in the courtyard it's the perfect volume to still allow for conversation. The family style menu is great value and so much food! We have had a handful of very kind interactions with a blonde female manager who's name I do not know but she has helped with reservations for birthdays and family gatherings and making sure we can have the patio in what might be considered off-patio season as we Canadians don't mind the cold.

Our last visits have been better than my last review. Our server Ruby tried very hard to help the four of us have a good dining experience. Our food was very good. My mushroom raviolis were improved both taste wise and presentation wise. The portion was a bit larger too. They need more servers and helpers on weekends but otherwise things are looking up.

Quick wait time... between 5-10 minutes for dining room . If you sit in the bar area can seat immediately. Our server was fabulous. I wish I remembered his name; very friendly and social. Food and service are always splendid. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer- three plump meatballs covered with sauce; and packed with tenderness and flavor. Good to share for 1-2 people. I ordered the chicken francise: two juicy chicken breasts; seasoned well . The sides include asparagus and potatoes wedges. Healthy and delicious. Didn't make me fill overly full ( where your stomach hurts or you fill sick ... so loved that) .My other half ordered chicken parm- two tender chicken breasts with a side of spaghetti. The sauce on the spaghetti was tasty. The portions are a good size; easily shareable. The ambiance is casual or upscale; depending what you want it to be honestly. We left filling satisfied and full. The complimentary bread is delicious; dip it in the oil and your in heaven.

Let's say for the win. We went after having a bad experience at another place here in Sanatana Row and we are so happy we did. We had the braziano and the calimari and the side salad. For food was really good and the bread - Chiobata - mmm . Warm and the balsamic Vinegar was perfect for this dipping . Out waiter was attentive and made some good suggestions on the menu. Everything was good he suggested . I like the layout of the restaurant. The lighting was soft and just right. The booth was comfortable for me , I am a little tall , but I fit well and had plenty of room. It's remebnds me of places back east , little Italy just bigger. I glad we came in when we did . Because it got busy real fast after 530 on a Tuesday night. I will be back and I will bring friends.

Delicious! Had Easter Linner (lunch & Dinner) here today. First off the service was spectacular! Even though they were SUPER busy, the wait staff and Servers were super friendly and very helpful! These people deserved a gold star if you ask me. It was crazy in there and they were cool as cucumbers. Bravo to them!! The Ambiance is so wonderful there! Just the right amount of crowd noise and the lighting was perfect. The decorations through out the facility are very warm and inviting! The food was soooo delicious! We ordered the Easter Special. Cones with two salads, two appetizers, two pastas, two main courses and a sampling of desserts. Of course we are huge eaters so we ordered two extra appetizers. We had the Calamari, Fried Zucchini, bruschetta and the mussels. Everything was so delicious and piping hot. Super yummy! Our pastas were the mushroom raviolis and the shrimp Alfredo. Both were very yummy! The mushroom ravioli are especially delicious! The meats we had the chicken frances which was a Parmesan crusted chicken breast covered in a rich creamy sauce. Wonderfully delicious! The last meat dish was the tenderloins. This is a must order dish! Tender juicy pieces of meat covered in a rich sauce served with mashed potatoes. You got to order this dish it's super yummy! The desserts were excellent! A sampling of all their deserts which are a perfect ending to a wonderfully delicious meal! We will be back!!!

Came in on a Friday night as a walk in and it was about a 20 minute wait to be seated outdoors. Indoor would have been over an hour wait. Very busy as expected. You can also create a reservation ahead of time through the website. Luckily they had plenty of heat lamps so I didn't even get cold--if anything it was ALMOST too warm. Our server was amazing! He was very friendly and personable. I wish I could remember his name so I can give him a shoutout here but for his service alone, this place gets a 5 star :) I got the rigatoni arrabiata (5/5) which was great! It had a hint of spiciness which was nice and everything was seasoned very well. I didn't think I was a fan of rigatoni but hey, this proved me wrong. You get a good amount of chicken as well. Only thing that can improve this is if the chicken was cut better lol. They were cut in chunky squares which was a little weird. But that's just me being picky--I wouldn't change anything when it comes to the flavor. My bf got the mom's lasagna (4/5) and that was also great! I don't think this stands out from other lasagnas I've had, but this is a good reliable dish :) I also got the citrus mule which was strong but didn't taste strong. I prefer my Moscow mules but nevertheless this was good to try. We also got a tiramisu (3.5/5) which had a nice strong coffee flavor. It was a little too soft for my liking, but it still tasted great :) They have this awesome deal where you can order a classic pasta to go for $6 if you order an entree for dine in. We got the fettuccine alfredo pasta which was amazing when we cooked it the next day. The lid came with a QR box with instructions on how to warm up the pasta properly. I would for sure come back here! I understand why this place is recommended to me a lot. This place is a great place for good, reliable pasta. And when I come back, I'd take advantage of that $6 deal again :)
